North Somerset Map for Cyclists is updated annually & is available free together with other cycle maps from Long Ashton Library or on-line at the above website.


Cycle Routes
National Route 334 from Portbury to Winford via Ashton Court & Long Ashton, mostly on road.
National Route 33 (Festival Way) is under development between Nailsea, Backwell & Bristol as part of Sustrans Connect 2 project. It will be mostly traffic free and include the completed Flax Bourton Greenway & the path through the southern part of Long Ashton from Lampton Road to Yanley Lane. It is due for completion by 2013.


Timberland Trail

The Timberland Trail
The Timberland Trail, built for mountain bikers in Ashton Court & Leigh Woods, is open from 8.00am to dusk. The yellow trail is for youngsters or inexperienced riders & the pink trail for the more adventurous.
